Khandeya has been a music education and arts administration panelist and/or presenter at several events including: Smithsonian Folklike Festival "On The Move" program (DC Caribbean Collective), El Sistema USA National Symposium 2019, YOLA National Symposium 2019, SphinxConnect 2020, Maryland Arts Summit 2020 (presented by MCA & AEMS), and the Maryland Music Educators Association 2021 Annual Inservice Conference. 

 

During her schooling and after graduation, Khandeya was a mentor and teacher at Berklee City Music Preparatory Academy and was additionally hired as a Faculty Outreach Teacher for Berklee City Music Boston. At the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, she served as the Education Outreach Assistant and most recently concluded her tenure of almost eight years as an OrchKids Senior Program Manager. She presently serves as a staff and faculty member at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University focused on community engagement, partnerships, and career services.
